I tried Slack and I think it shall replace many things - WhatsApp is convenient for quick messages but not for discussions. E-mail is ok, but again, not for conversations. Channels in Slack are great to distribute the knowledge to the right people and keep track of all the projects. /todo and other bots are completing the functionality.

Shall we give a try?
